Magazine Genre

The genre I have chosen to base my music magazine on, are a mix of sub genres, which merge into a main genre. The chosen sub-genres being screamo, heavy metal, and also rock. This can cover a wide range of bands, singers, and also clothing styles.
        For example; the multiple sub-genres which merge into one can help with the ideas for the photo shoot, this meaning that when I do eventually take the photos for my magazine - I can choose outfits that will suite the style, but it can also give diversity to the outfits in which I've chosen, as well as the hair styles and the use of makeup if I do use it. As well as the outfits, the range of sub-genres will also help with the mass of bands that I can create myself, as well as ones that already exist. The use of different ranges of bands, can create a bigger audience for the magazine, in the sense that there is a band featuring in the magazine for everyone.
